You play as a puck: you boost across the arena, you slam into people, and you charge up shots. Four game types: SOCCER, DODGEBALL, SHOOTER, and ZOMBIES for when you'd rather team up.SOCCERBoost across the arena, slam into whoever is in your way, and hold to charge a shot that actually hurts. Thirteen arenas that change the game rather than just the scenery: a donut with a hole through the middle, a pinball table full of bumpers, a wormhole pitch, an S-shaped one where the goal is not where you expect it. And three WILD pitches that fight back: a foosball table whose rods kick, a rink with no brakes, and a pitch that tips every twenty seconds.DODGEBALLNo goals here. Knock the other team out with thrown balls, and remember that every throw explodes three seconds after it leaves your hand. Catch a throw cleanly and the ball powers up: green, then yellow, then BLACK. Each tier flies faster and hits harder, and BLACK cannot be caught or blocked at all. Five arenas, including rotating stages and portals that swallow balls and players alike.SHOOTERWeapons instead of a ball. Twenty-one of them sit on pads that keep moving around the arena, from a crossbow to a flamethrower to a ball cannon, the pistol is the floor you always have, and recoil is movement: a shotgun blast is a dash backwards, a railgun shot a kick. Every kill in one life climbs your streak. Three earns an AIRSTRIKE, five a MISSILE you steer yourself, seven a GUNSHIP that makes half the arena illegal for ten seconds, and nine a BLACK HOLE. Six more rewards are waiting to be unlocked, and now and then a free one drops onto the floor for whoever gets there first.Eight arenas, each with its own trouble: a train through the middle, a tide that floods the sand (grab something that floats), ice that cracks open, a robot vacuum that hunts you across a living room. Play it free-for-all or in teams, or twist it: GUN GAME (every kill hands you the next of 22 weapons, and a horse or a motorbike might show up), KING (hold the crown, score the seconds), INFECTION (one stab and you turn), SOCCER WITH GUNS (the ball only moves when it is shot) and STACKED (five rounds, a card draft after each).ZOMBIESOne to four of you hold HOLLOW HILL against the dead, wave after wave. Earn cash for every kill and spend it on guns off the walls, doors to new parts of the map, ammo and perks. A boss turns up every fifth wave, and your best wave is kept for every difficulty and player count. There are a few things in HOLLOW HILL we're not going to tell you about.SOLO, ON THE COUCH, OR ONLINEEvery game type plays the same either way. Play solo against bots at a difficulty you choose, fill a couch with up to 8 players on controllers, or send your friends a code and play online. Bots also take any empty seat in a team game, so a match never waits for the last person to show up.ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKTen original tracks, written and played by us: funk, surf and synthwave, no stock library. Every menu and every match runs on our own record.EASY TO PLAY, HARD TO MASTERMoving takes a minute to learn. Reading a charged shot, timing a slam into a moving puck, catching a black ball on purpose, and knowing when to cash a kill streak: those take a while.
