Deeper Than Gold

The crypt has no bottom – only better gold and worse company. Deeper Than Gold is an isometric action dungeon crawler for 1–4 players. Every room you clear takes you further from the exit, and every coin you pick up is only borrowed until you carry it back to the surface. Extract early and watch the others push on – with your gold already safe.Every ten rooms the crypt drops a tier: more enemies, tougher elites, richer hoards.Ascension halls and rest rooms along the way hold portals to the surface. Step through and your gold is safe – push on and you risk it.Die down there and you lose most of the gold you carry and wake at your last checkpoint. Fall too often and your run is over.Gold spills as coins from enemies, chests and side rooms – grab it, haul it, decide.Levers, portcullises and hidden walls lead to side rooms worth the detour.Warrior – the tank. Get it right and a sealed gate opens – to the Crypt Guardian and its hoard.Every 20 rooms the crypt changes: Crypt, Mine, Fungus Caves, Ice Crypt and Lava Depths – each with its own rooms, light and enemy variants, from sappers in the mine to frost goblins that slow you down.At the end of each biome a boss waits: the Crypt Guardian, the Mine Overseer, the Spore Mother, the Frost Wyrmling and the Magma Brute. Three phases each, with colour-coded attacks that tell you whether to dodge, block or interrupt.
