Mining outputs work the belts around the clock, stripping ore whether or not you're in the system, or logged in at all. Set up convoy routes that carry ore back to your colonies on their own schedule, turning it into credits while you're away.Grow colonies from bare rock into sprawling outposts. Every world starts with a landing pad and a handful of empty plots. Fill them with habitat domes, hydroponics farms, research centers, drone bays, and more, as a outputs grow into colonies worth defending.Repel the Dominion when they come for your ship. A boarding lance clamps onto the hull and cuts through, and the fight plays out across your own decks in real time. Raiders push in from the airlock and the engine bay and make for the bridge while fire spreads room to room behind them.Prestige through five distinct starships. You start in the wayfarer freighter, a hauler with nowhere far to go yet. Prestige and trade it in for a hull built to push further: the excavator for mining the belts, the survey vessel for researching the solar systems, the gunship for hostile encounters, and the adventurer for the far side of known space. Take the fight to the Dominion. Everything builds toward Ashgate, where the Dominion has massed a capital fleet no single power can break alone. Earn enough standing with both the Federation and the Rebels and you can call the Ashgate Star Invasion: a full-scale assault with allied warships at your side against the Dominion.Get out and walk. Leave the pilot's seat and your ship becomes a place to explore: walk its decks, pass the crew at their stations, take a game of checkers in the recreation hall.
